Scott Stace

Chief Executive Officer & Founder

Scott Stace is a visionary entrepreneur whose career has been defined by a lifelong passion for communication and connection. He began in Tucson’s radio industry — working both on-air and as a broadcast engineer — before bringing that technical expertise to Microsoft in Redmond, Washington. In 2001, Scott returned to his Arizona roots and founded Bluespan, driven by the conviction that Tucson and the surrounding communities deserved the same world-class broadband infrastructure available in major tech hubs. Over the past 25 years, he has grown Bluespan into one of Arizona’s most trusted service providers. A committed civic leader, Scott currently serves on the Chamber of Commerce Public Policy Council and has served as a Board Member for both Sun Corridor and SCORE — reflecting his deep belief that strong communities and strong economics go hand in hand.

Greg Mingus

Chief Technology Officer

Greg Mingus serves as Chief Technology Officer at Bluespan, where he leads the company’s technology strategy and infrastructure operations. With more than 30 years of hands-on experience in network engineering, security, and systems architecture, Greg brings deep technical expertise to Bluespan’s mission of delivering fast, reliable internet service across Arizona.

Greg built Bluespan’s network from the ground up and continues to oversee its day-to-day operations. His career has been driven by a relentless curiosity about how things work— a mindset that led him to earn certifications including CISSP, CCSP, and a broad portfolio of CompTIA credentials in security, networking, and systems administration. That same instinct to dig in, test, and understand every layer of the technology is what keeps Bluespan’s infrastructure running the way it should.

Chris Nelson

Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Since joining the Bluespan team in July 2013, Chris has been a driving force within the company’s evolution from a small startup to a regional powerhouse competing against the national providers, helping to oversee a period of massive, multi-thousand-user expansion. He leads the Sales and Marketing efforts, participating in Chamber of Commerce events, meeting with new potential customers, while never hesitating to climb a tower, dig a ditch, install conduit for fiber expansion or drive out of state to keep a project moving. From inventory control to community outreach Chris’s will do anything attitude ensures Bluespan stays at the forefront of the industry.
